Just a month away till one of our favorite conventions. ConNooga is March 1-3 2013 in Chattanooga, TN. at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo plus the Chattanooga Convention Center. We will be there with Fantasy prints, action figure prints, and Hand made Faerie wings.
Con Nooga is Chattanooga’s first and only Multi-Fandom (Multiple Genre) Convention covering everything from Celebrities, Artists, Authors, Film Makers, Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy, Anime, Comics, Paranormal, Haunting, Costuming, Concerts, Shows, Contests, Gaming, Console Gaming, Seminars, Workshops, Families, and Fun. Not to mention the numerous DEALERS, and EXHIBITORS in our 40,000 Square Foot Exhibitor Hall. Over 100+ Special Guests, dealers and fan groups help to make Con Nooga complete. Enjoy 3 Days of Programming, Seminars, Workshops, Concerts, Acts, and Fun based upon numerous genres and fandom.
Special guest for 2013 is Daniel Logan aka young Boba Fett from the film “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones” and the animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
Artists include Lindsay Archer, Michael Bielaczyc, Paul Bielaczyc, Sam Flegal, Tammy Pryce, and Johnathon Brock and Betsy Brock.

For the first time – people can just attend the Exhibitor Hall for a lower entry fee to meet celebrities, bands, authors, other guests and make purchases from our amazing vendors.
We will be offering an exhibitor hall entry or people curious or only wanting to attend and see our dealers, celebrities, bands, authors, etc. This fee will only allow a (1) time entry into the Exhibitor Hall at time of payment and does not include any activities at the Choo Choo Facility or any seminars taking place within the Convention Center Meeting Space. Entry into the Exhibitor Hall is void once you leave the Hall. All re-entries must be paid again or have a Con Nooga Membership Badge.

Marvel super heroes are assembling for an action-packed, brick-smashing good time! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Marvel Entertainment announced today that “LEGO Marvel Super Heroes” will be available beginning Fall 2013 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, the Wii U system and Windows PC, as well as the Nintendo DS handheld system, Nintendo 3DS handheld system and PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system. “LEGO Marvel Super Heroes” is the first instalment in the highly successful LEGO videogame franchise to feature famous Marvel characters.

Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention with Bricks & Heroes.
It’s been over a week since the Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention. I finally have time to blog on the con. This was the third year of the con but the first time they had a track dedicated to LEGO. This was also the first LEGO event I’ve attended.
We went to sell my toy photography prints. Once we were set up I got to walk around a bit. The first purchase I made was from the Citizen Brick booth. I knew they mini-fig babies so I had to get one to commemorate my son’s birth. I also picked up a zombie heady and a victim torso.

As previously posted in Zombie Invasion and Magneto’s first job, I got a few custom pieces from EclipseGRAFX. The Zombie fighter is one of the coolest things at the show.
EclipseGRAFX mini-figs
I bought a few Mini-figs from Milton Train Works. I got a series 2 life guard, series 8 Santa and another figure from a set that I don’t own. It’ll appear in a future post. With the purchase of the life guard I now have at least one mini-fig from every series but #1

Brickmania toys had some great looking kits. and a Bikini Bottom MOC. The LEGO group was there but as display only they didn’t have products for sale. But they did have a LEGO Batman comic book. It was game trailer in a printed form. 
There were also vendors selling various LEGO sets and mini-figures. Since it was part of a comic convention, there were several places selling comic books, toys, t-shirts and geek stuff. There were also some panels, concerts, and short films.

Magneto’s first job. Secret jobs of villians and heroes #1.
This comic uses Magneto from Wolverine’s Chopper showdown set #6866. The soda cans are another find from the EclipseGrafix booth at Memphis Comic & Fantasy Convention. They are Custom LEGO pieces designed and created by eclipseGrafx. The cans are printed pieces and even have a pull tab printed on top.
BrixiCola, Brk Dew, and Brika-cola are available for $2 a pop at EclipseGrafix.

Well looks like you guys like zombies. The Ready for the Zombies pic went to the top of my most liked posts within hours of being posted. It will be available as a print in the online store soon. I just need to tweak the print a bit more.
I’d like to welcome all the new followers both from the Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention and one that have found via other ways. I have finished working on my pics of the convention and will have a post up this weekend. I’m working on another pic with some of my convention purchases.

This is one of my purchases from Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention. I bought it from eclipseGRAFX. They are a reseller of a couple of Brick brands. They also make their own custom accessories and mini-figs. I have more cool stuff to photograph and post. Stay tuned.

SIdekick no more.
Robin finally had it with being a sidekick. After bring hit by an embiggen ray and armed he tells the Batman his real feelings.
Appearing in Who’s a Sidekick, Lego Robin from McDonald’s Happy Meal(2008), and LEGO Batman 30160.
Robin was a thrift store find bagged with a few other happy meal toys. Batman jetski set is a toy r us exclusive. I’d been looking for him for a while. I was on the far side of town and decided to check out that store. As I was walking towards the store a guy got out of his car. My Colletor sense told me he was another collector. Sure enough I found the LEGO aisle there was the Batman polybagged set. I got one and a momnet later the other guy was there grabbing him a set as well.
