LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Day 9
This year Marvel has a Guardians of the Galaxy advent calendar to tie in with the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
The special is Mantis and Drax trying to find the perfect gift to cheer up Peter. The builds are most likely based on the GOTG movies than the special itself. But there are some Christmas theme builds like the presents. I don’t think we will have Mantis in an ugly sweater. I guess I could order the parts from somewhere and put the Guardians in festive attire.
What is today’s Advent item?
I wasn’t expecting this. I said I did think we see Mantis in an ugly sweater, we haven’t so far. But Today we have Nebula in an Thanos ugly sweater. We didn’t see this outfit in the special so I still think the advent set id based on GOTG vol 1&2 and they just added Christmas builds.
She has presents wrapped in Thanos colors. The taller stack was from the instructions, the short stack was made of the spare pieces. More on spare pieces later.
This is one cool minifig. Has a back design which I forgot to shoot. I’ll add it in later.
More Parts
A couple days ago I found loose parts in a door. Today I found another 1×1 slim stud. So somewhere in the calendar a bag is open.
