They announced the new LEGO BatWing inspired by the 1989 movie.

Toy Photography Book on sale!
With the shutdown, comic books aren’t being delivered to stores. Comic and their distributors are closed. To prevent fan boredom Dynamite comics is running an indiegogo champaign with on hand books. They are discounting graphic novels and comics that they have in stock so won’t be delayed waiting for publication.
One of the books is Ten Seconds Per Frame by Johnny Wu. He has some amazing Toy Photographer. The book is only $6.00. Other books include Red Sonja, The Romita Legacy, Art of Alex Ross, and mystery boxes of comics and graphic novels. They’ve already sold out of the Art of Atari book, I would have bought it if they still had any.
Supplies are limited to what is on hand and the sale ends at the end of April. Shipping is expected to start as soon as indiegogo releases the payment.

Take your action figure to work day 2018
Today is Take Your Action Figure to Work Day. I was working from my home office today. I took my laptop to the kitchen for better lighting. I took a few pictures of my chosen figures in front of my laptop. I didn’t like the result so took my figures out on errands. I took some pictures in a parking lot.
I like to stick ’em all in a row on my control console.”

The first Friday in March is Take Your Action Figure to Work Day. That is this Friday, March 2 2018. Last year Dr Strange and Ant-man worked in my office. Well Dr. Strange worked, Ant-man just hung out in the lounge chair.

We are Groot!
I won a Groot! Funko ran a twitter giveaway called PSH Happy Hour. They asked for pictures of a GOTG pint size heroes to win a Pint Size Hero Prototype.
I submitted my pic of tiny Groot. I was one of five winners that day. Funko runs PSH Happy Hour contest on twitter. They ask for pics let fans submit for an hour and then give away some cool prizes. I usually see the hashtag on Wednesdays but this one was the opening day of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol2.
I’ve been trying to enter the contest for a while but always missed it. In fact just the week before I had been shooting and was uploading my images when I saw the #PSHHappyHour. I ran outside and took a few pics of Groot in the garden. But by the time I could upload that day’s contest had ended. But my timing just right this time.

March 3 is Take your action figure to work day 2017
The first Friday in March is Take Your Action Figure to Work Day. So prepare now. I was on Vacation last year and didn’t know ahead of time. I made a quick photo in my home office. This year I’ll being working at home so it’ll still be a Home office picture(s). I have a couple ideas of who will I will take to work.

Captain America: Civil War Pop Bundle at shirtpunch! affiliate post
ShirtPunch has a Civil war bundle today, 5/16/16. The set includes an Iron-man shirt and two pops for only $25. The shirt design is an Vitruvian man style Iron Man’s suit. The Pops are the Civil War Version of Captain America and Iron Man.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens Friday so here’s Groot and Applejack. See she’s a farmer he’s a plant. There’s a joke there somewhere.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens Friday so here’s Drax. Time permitting, I’ll have another Guardians of the Galaxy post tomorrow. I been busy rebuilding the store. Plus we’ve had a break in the summer heat and I could do yard work and not melt. The new store is up so now I can process pics.
LEGO Flesh Wound T-shirt
Gimmick Tees has another LEGO themed Tee-shirt. Flesh wound is available till August 4th. The design is inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Another Monday Means Another Medusa
Not actually called Medusa, but you know they based this character on the gorgon. This is the She-Demon from the Hercules the Legendary Journeys tv show. Toy Biz made action figures from the Hercules and Xena show during the nineties. She-Demon: Stone Strike Tail is a nice toy, not as detailed as current action figures but it’s a mythological character and those are always cool to collect.
Although her appearance suggests a modern interpretation of Lamia, the She-Demon’s powers and story more closely mirror those of Medusa.
From Wave Two of the ToyBiz HTLJ 5 inch action figure line. The She-Demon as seen in “The Wrong Path.” The She-Demon has a spring-loaded tail. To make her attack, you pull back the tail and then press a button at the bottom to make it spring forward. The She-Demon also comes with a “stone” face mask which will fit over the heads and shoulders of the Hercules and Iolaus figures so you can turn them into stone!
Galaxy’s Most Dangerous Predator
As I near the two-year anniversary of this blog I thought I’d post some of my pre-Yoda Archives work. I’ve mentioned before that this blog was partially a result of a 365 project I did years ago. This is one of the Marco shots I did that year. It’s a vignette I made with Boba Fett and a Predator action figure.
Speaking of predators, Hockey is back.
Star Wars 3-d Packaging
Added another Yoda to my collection. This one is in Discover the Force in 3-d packaging. It’s a wal-mart exculsive with glasses and a 3d image on the pack. The image is action figure photography. Says collect all 17 images. You can see some online at wal-mart.com The glasses are on selected toys and sets at walmart.
