Clone Wars: Darth Maul Returns, A look back.
With the new Obi Wan Kenobi series airing lets have a look back at some Clone Wars content. Here is a blog post from 2012, when Darth Maul’s return was announced. We ran a series predicting what the new Darth Maul might look like. Rather than repost the entire series We’ll just put then all in one post.
This weekend The Phantom Menace returns to the big screen but this time in 3D. Lucasfilm is promoting the re-release with packaging and advertising featuring Darth Maul. Darth Maul was cut in two and plummeted to his death in the final act of the movie.
But this spring he returns to the small screen in The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. Since the Clone Wars takes place after Phantom Menace you probably have some question like, How did he survive? If he survived why is he just now showing up? legs? or Does George Lucas know what continuity means?
We’d like to help answer one of those questions, here’s our first prediction of what Darth Maul’s new legs will look like.
Stick your head in the sand.
Ostrich’s legs from LEGO Prince of Persia Ostrich Race (#7570).
Spider-legs
This time he steals Nute Gunray’s Mechno-chair. It look kind of like spider legs which is the closet our predictions came to being right.
“Bones” McMaul
Sith on Wheels
Dalek Maul
Neimoidian Legs
Maybe he steals the legs from Neimoidian, Nute Gunray. Preiovous was Maul steals a chair why not just steal legs?
In the “Brothers” episode of the Clone Wars we finally caught a glimpse of the new Darth Maul and then he had spider like legs. The Sith was found weak, insane, and thirsting for vengeance. Eventually he gets bipedal legs.

Dec 14 2013 LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar
Today’s LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar build is a Space Kit-kat? At least tomorrow there is a new level for the Jango Fett Game. Plus a new advent calendar code to unlock something. Do you want the code posted? Like this post and I’ll add it to tomorrow’s post.
Dec 13 2013 LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar
Today’s Advent gift is another Battle Droid. Like I said last year if they are going to use the calendar for army building use Stormtroopers, or since it winter themed Snowtroopers and Hoth based rebels. I’m guessing just like in the movies battle droids are cheaper to mass produce. Speaking of Hoth maybe next year Santa Han solo in Hoth gear and Miss Santa Leia. That would be cool. I still want to see Queen Amidala from set #9499 Gungan Sub as a Christmas tree.
Dec 12 2013 LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar
From the LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar (#75023), today’s build is a Dropship, another prequel model. Plus another extra piece.
Dec 11 2013 LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar
From the LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar (#75023), today’s build is an AT-TE to pair with the Clone Trooper. It has a lot of parts and even some extra pieces. It is a decent representation of what is seen on-screen.

Dec 10 2013 LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar
From the LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar (#75023), today’s minifig is a Clone Trooper. I hope he pairs with yesterday’s attack ship so tomorrow is not another accessory pack.

Save the Clone Wars
A few days ago, LucasFilm Animation announced the end of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars as a TV show on StarWars.com. Their announcement stated that ” Lucasfilm has decided to pursue a new direction in animated programming,” that “we feel the time has come to wind down the series,” and that “fans can soon find this bonus content.” Bonus content makes it sound that the new content will be released on StarWars.com instead of being a season of the show or direct to DVD/Blu-Ray movies.
We appreciate Disney and LucasFilm and are looking forward to the sequel trilogy; however, we love The Clone Wars! We want more than bonus content! We want the many stories that the creators have set out to tell to be completed. We ask that the powers that be to please reconsider this decision.
Thanks,
Save The Clone Wars

Star Wars LEGO Advent Calendar 2012 * Dec 20
December 20 Star Wars advent build is General Grievous’ ship, the Soulless One.
There’s online content as well this year. With each door has a code to enter on LEGO’s SW calendar page. There’s a small animation of the model. It’s like the item building scenes from the LEGO Star Wars Games.
thanks for the info.
