Last Day of Dino Dudes 2 Kickstarter

Today is the last day of the Crazy Bricks Dino Dudes 2 on Kickstarter. The current Dino Dude suits are Carnotaurus, Dimetrodon, Ankylosaurus, Centrosaurus and Brontosaurus. You can choose a set of just the 5 costume pieces to add to your mini fogs.or a fully painted minifigure version of a single Dino Dude, or combinations of both. It’s $22 for a set of the five dino costume accessories or $22 for a single minifig of one Dino Dude. Plus more tiers.
There is still time to unlock add ons of Kaiju versions Brontosaurus and Triceratops or a new Parasaurus. These add on will cost extra. The Brontosaurus and Triceratops were part of the first run of Dino Dudes but this would be a new paint job.
check it out on Kickstarter they even have a promo video. The first series of Dino Dudes was awesome I’m looking forward to this new set.

The initial 3 pack set of legs includes tactical legs for sniper, step-up and, high kick. There is another 3 packs as a stretch goal. It called Super and had flying, kneeling, and super pose. I’m pretty sure they will hit that goal. reward pledges start at $11 and are expected to ship in October.

They have a few fully painted versions there now but the were other options for the Kickstarter. Including single color accessory packs which have all the dinosaur suits just with out the extra printing. I got the accessory and will post it soon but these figs were too cool to wait.

Below is the fossil version of the Triceratops.

New Crazy Bricks Kickstarter Tuesday

https://crazybricks.com

Crazybricks has a new kickstater launching Tuesday October 13. The new set is Brick Buddies and features brick built animals. So far there are just some illustrations.

This will be a blind bag series with two Brick buddies in each bag. Not sure how I feel about blind bag for a kickstarter set. I know it will be a quality product since it is Crazy Bricks. It’s just a long wait to get a fig I may not  like then have to again and hope I get the Watermelon cat. Plus it’s only been three month since the Dino Dudes campaign ended. My wallet needs a longer break. Don’t know about pricing yet, We’ll find out soon.

Day one supporters will get a Brick Buddies top hat.

Note: The campaign was suppose to state last week but there was a delay.

Once the campaign goes live I’ll post about it here

Bricks of the Mouse Guard Kickstarter

Crazy Bricks is about to wrap up another Kickstarter project. This time they are doing the Mouse Guard. Mouse Guard is a graphic novel series by David Petersen. I have not read the series but the artwork is beautiful.

In Mouse Guard, mice struggle to live safely and prosper among all of the world’s harsh conditions and predators. Thus the Mouse Guard was formed. They are not simply soldiers that fight off intruders; rather, they are guides for common mice looking to journey without confrontation from one hidden mouse village to another.

The sets will include various mouse heads and character accessories. The head colors are tan, grey, reddish-brown, and dark brown. The accessories are two styles of flagons, a cool axe, a lantern on a staff, and a sword. I really like the looks of these flagons. I want to get a bunch of these for my minifigs when they are released next year.

Each accessories set comes in your choice of one of three colors – Gun-Metal Grey, Brown,  or Gold

Stretch Goals

They already have added some pre stretch goal items. Each set will include a bonus black mouse head and a stove pipe hat. They hit the first stretch goal bonus, an extra flagon. The next goal in another bonus flagon. AT $25,000 they add a random item, And if they hit $30,000 they plan for add ons.

1. We’ve teamed up with the artists at BrickArms, CitizenBrick and Cape Madness to produce fully-realized custom Mouse Guard Minifigures of your favorite Mouse Guard Heroes!  These will include pad-printed custom torsos, limited-edition colored weapons, Hero length capes, 10th Anniversary Mouse Guard packaging and more!

2. 1 x 8 Mouse Guard Badge Bricks so you can show your love of the Guard!

3. You can ADD ON additional Crates of the Matriarch!

They have a target date of March 2015 to have the Mouse Guard bricks ready for the tenth anniversary of the Mouse Guard Series. Alice Finch and Washington state based Lego User Group, ARCHLUG plan to build a World of Mouse Guard MOC at Seattle’s Emerald City Comic Con. Alice Finch built Hogwarts Castle out of 400,000 LEGO bricks. She displayed at BrickCon 2012.
