Spider-man taking a break from saving the city. Here’s my version of Spider-man Homecoming poster.
- Spider-man and the Avengers tower are from the Avengers Advent calendar. (#76196)
- Some of the buildings in the background are ships from the 2021 Star Wars Advent calendar. (#75307 ) They are vertical instead of horizontal.
- The other building are a weapons rack from the same calendar and a LEGO part with other parts added to it.
- The bench and flower pot are from LEGO fountain (#40221).
- The headphone were part of the Bro Thor’s New Asgard set (#76200).
- Wait, Spider-man’s knee is bent. Yes that cause he has amazing flexibility. Ok it’s Crazy Legs from Crazy Bricks. They have two sets of legs, super or tactical. I’ll share others soon.
- Crazy Bricks made the Dino Dudes parts and will have another kickstarter in early 2022.

Bro Thor’s New Asgard
Here is the Bro Thor’s New Asgard set (#76200) 265 pieces $29.99. Lots of small pieces for Thor’s home decor. I added some custom bricks to update the room. The set has many of the bricks that look like layered bricks( 1 x 2 with Masonry Profile). The masonry bricks are some of my favorite pieces. I’m glad there’s’ two colors in this set. Plus some of the Modified 1 x 2 x 1 2/3 with Studs on Side pieces used in Brick Headz. I like this set and will continue to modify it and use it as a setting in photos. Includes Thor, Korg and brick built Miek

I added a few things from my collection Can you spot them? List below this picture.

Crazy Legs Kickstarter
Crazy Bricks the people that made Crazy arms and Dino Dudes re back with Crazy Legs. A new kickstarter with cool legs designs. The campaign just started. Day one supporters get a free set of Javelin arms. Read about it on kickstarter.
The initial 3 pack set of legs includes tactical legs for sniper, step-up and, high kick. There is another 3 packs as a stretch goal. It called Super and had flying, kneeling, and super pose. I’m pretty sure they will hit that goal. reward pledges start at $11 and are expected to ship in October.

CrazyBricks makes some cool stuff. Here is the T-Rex with custom torso from their Dino Dudes line. I still need to process my photos of the Dino Dudes package. If you scroll back in the blog you can see the fossil triceratops.

See more about Crazy Legs on kickstarter page.
UPDATE
They have now unlocked two colors options, red and green. Stretch goal 3 is the super pack. Hopefully that will be achieved soon.
New Crazy Bricks Kickstarter Tuesday
Crazybricks has a new kickstater launching Tuesday October 13. The new set is Brick Buddies and features brick built animals. So far there are just some illustrations.Â
This will be a blind bag series with two Brick buddies in each bag. Not sure how I feel about blind bag for a kickstarter set. I know it will be a quality product since it is Crazy Bricks. It’s just a long wait to get a fig I may not  like then have to again and hope I get the Watermelon cat. Plus it’s only been three month since the Dino Dudes campaign ended. My wallet needs a longer break. Don’t know about pricing yet, We’ll find out soon.

Day one supporters will get a Brick Buddies top hat.
Note: The campaign was suppose to state last week but there was a delay.
Once the campaign goes live I’ll post about it here

This awesome custom torso is from Eclipse Grafx. They have shirts for the less interesting candidates as well. They also have some cool vending machine sets, that I didn’t see when I ordered this torso and a couple other bricks.
Creations for Charity Livestream Event Friday.
The Creations for Charity store closes for the 2015 season on November 30th. So It’s your last chance to help. C4C is an annual fundraiser for underprivileged children. LEGO builders create custom items from bricks, minifigs and MOCs. They donate the items to C4C, which sells them to buy LEGO sets for children. You can even have a custom project built for yourself.
But before the store closes there is a special event friday evening.
For a period of 24 hours last year, LEGO fans from all over the world joined a live stream to help support Creations for Charity. From building LEGO sets, working on MOCs, discussing the LEGO hobby, to sorting LEGO; it’s safe to say that everyone involved had a great time and all for a great cause.
This year’s event will be building upon last year’s success and taking the art of building with and talking about LEGO for 24 hours non stop to new heights! With 24 hours of non stop LEGO action, this is surely going to be something you won’t want to miss. From 5pm EST on Friday November 27th to 5pm EST on Saturday November 28th, we’ll be fighting off sleep to bring you all kinds of LEGO goodness!
Please share and reblog this post to help get the word out.
Will you watch?

Brickfair Alabama: The waiting is the hardest part.
I finally have time for a Brickfaire Alabama recap.
We got there a little later than we had anticipated and we surprised by the huge line. The show started at 11am. I thought if we got there around noon, the early crowd would be gone. We left later than i wanted and noon turned to one. Then after a stop for lunch, one turned to 1:30 before we made to the convention center. The line outside snaked from the entrance across the front of the building to the corner and then up the side of the street. The line kept growing behind us. But the line moved swiftly. Every few minutes they would let another fifty people into the exhibit hall. They did come around asking if anyone had presale tickets. So next year I’ll get presale tickets. There wasn’t one last year and we got there around lunch time.
Once inside the building the line moved from the door to the right wall the back to the left and up the stairs. Then it flowed from above the stairs around the corner and down a hallway to the doors. They let more people inside and we almost made it but got stop at the door. At least now we were first inline. A friendly Brickfair worker chatted with us. asked how long we’d been there at that point it was about forty minutes. We just had to wait a little bit long for a few people to clear out and we could enter the fun.
Once inside to the immediate left was the play and stay area. To the right a massive brick built Crane and just a just pass that our first stop, EclipseGrafx. They had some awesome custom bricks. I had a list of what I needed and stuck to it. I got some food bricks and zombie heads, although they didn’t have one of the heads I was hunting.

Part of the Mini-Con display. The Mini-Con was a model of the convention itself and individual exhibitors built tiny version of their builds.
After shopping it was train time. My son loved looking at the trains. We watched them for a little while then moved to mini-con. The Mini-Con is a brick model of the convention hall. BrickFair provided the basic structure to the model and then vendors add minimises of their displays. We turn from that table ans saw Thomas the train.
After that we played a couple of the crane games. Didn’t win anything but didn’t spend too much either. They didn’t have the build a mini fig vending machine that were there last year. I wanted to build a random fig for the blog. I tried to build a random fig at a booth by just blindly grabbing parts. It just didn’t feel the same so I passed. My son however built his own minig fig. He was very proud of it. We took a chance at winning some bricks. There was a jar of bricks. who ever guessed closest to the number of bricks would win the box. I made a guess. My son want to drop the slip in the box, so I lifted him up. Then he want to fill out a paper. so brickfair got post note scribble in their box.
We visited the Brick Warriors booth and got a full bag of fantasy pieces. My son was helping by filling my cup with round viking shields. We looked at minifig and models for a while. The swung around for another pass. We found the Modern Brick Warfare booth. They had some great weapons and minifigs. I was too busy visiting to remember to buy some riot shields.
We even saw a celebrity Emmet was at Brickfair! We looked at the train once more. It was time to admit we were tired and ready to head home. My son was asleep by the time we hit I-65.
There will be three more Brickfair events later this year.

Tickets $10 three and under free. Parking $8 but metered street parking is free on weekends.
I attended last year and had a great time. There was so many things to see and do you didn’t know where to start. There were dozens of s LEGO sold in sets or by the brick. Many vendors were selling loose minifigs either form the collectible series or from opened sets. There was also LEGO related media the Brickshow and Brick Journal were both in attendance.
Again this year there will be custom vendors that mold new part or take official LEGO parts and repaint them. Some of these are Clone Army Customs, BrickWarriors, Modern Brick Warfare, and EclipseGrafx. Some of the LEGO resellers include Classic Plastic bricks, Atlanta Brick Company, and we like it bricks and studs.
This one of the parts vending machines. There was a group of them called Build a Girl. Each machine had a body part one, a head, one a torso, and one legs. Onece you visited them all you had a randomly made minifig. There were also machine that had just bricks by kind or building function. These are some nice options to get a bit of the randomness fun.
Brickfair Alabama runs January 17-18 at the Birmingham Convention Center in Birmingham, Alabama. 11am-4pm. $10 admission. If you are a LEGO fan and nearby be sure to visit. There will be three more Brickfair events later this year.

Creations for Charity 2014
The LEGO Car Blog just reminder me about a great program. Since 2009Â Creations for Charity has run an annual fundraiser for underprivileged children. LEGO builders create custom items from bricks, minifigs and MOCs. They donate the items to C4C, which sells them to buy LEGO sets for children. You can even have a custom project built for yourself.
The Creations for Charity brick link store opens on October 15 and closes on November 30th. There are just a few days to pick up a custom item. I’ve messed up the past couple years and missed the deadline. I just place my first purchase and feel happy about it. If you are looking for something special for the LEGO fans on your list check them out.
According to a November 24 post, they’ve already raised over $6,000 this year. At that point there was a week left in the fund raising drive. Now it’s just the holiday weekend left. I hope they break their record this year.
On Saturday the 29th C4C is joining Beyond the Brick for a 24 hour live stream. From 5pm EST 11/28 through 5pm 11/29, tune in for a full day fun and building with Lego fans from the online community on Google Hangout. “We will be raising money together for this year’s Creations for Charity through a pledge system. For each hour spent on the stream, anyone can pledge to donate a certain amount to the fundraiser. The LEGO Group has pledged to donate a Lego set for every man-hour on air!”
This is a great fundraiser. Help if you can purchase an item for a LEGO fan, pledge and watch the stream and feel good about helping.

Kickstarter Project Versa Bricks connects LEGO, Hot Wheels, and K’Nex blocks
Versa Bricks are the brain child of Jerry Schutt of Ohio. Like many of us as a child he would play with LEGO and Hot Wheels. He wanted to play with the two together and use bricks to build ramps for the cars. But the ramps were didn’t work as he planned. Fast forward to today. with his background in engineering, computer modeling software, 3D printers for prototypes, and his family, Versa Bricks can be a reality.
Jerry has launched a Kickstarter Project to fund Versa Bricks. There are six different Versa Brick blocks designed to connect LEGO, Hot Wheels, and K’nex toys. A seventh brick that would connect HO scale train track tracks is an unlockable stretch goal. The bricks will be red. They will be made of ABS material. The funding period opened on October 13 and ends on December 1, that’s just a week away. The Versa Bricks are projected to be delivered in March of next year.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/386984333/versa-brickstm-compatible-with-lego-hot-wheels-kne
The rewards that are offered include sets of Vera Bricks, the more you donate the more bricks you get, a key chain and holder set made from the versa Bricks, and a Desktop ramp that included a car and a minifig. Certain level s of donations get a bricks in a mystery color. The biggest donors can attend a build party in Whitehouse, Ohio, where they’ll build a massive creation using Versa Bricks, LEGO, K’Nex and hot wheels.
Funding period: Oct 13 2014 – Dec 1 2014 (48 days)
Estimated Delivery: March 2015
This is a pretty cool project. I wish them luck and hope to see these next spring.
