Marvel Legends She-Hulk
Here’s the green paint of Marvel Legend She-Hulk. A few years ago there was a gray version of this same sculpt. I prefer the green version that’s how the character is usually shown.
It snowed a second time in a week here. This is a separate snow event from the Captain Carter image. It’s not often we have measurable snow in the area and real rare to have snow have it melt away and then more snow days later.
The figure has alternate hands and heads. The hands are closed fist and the head has a calm expression. I prefer the action look.
Disney+ will air a She-Hulk show later this year.

WandaVision Wednesday: Family Photos
WandVision is now streaming on Disney+. New episodes air on Fridays. I won’t post any spoilers in this post, please don’t post any in the comments. If I think of something that could be a potential spoiler, I’ll hide it behind a cut and won’t post it till a few days after that episode airs. That said I’m focusing on the old comics and random things for content of the photos, not as much as the show as to help avoid spoilers.

2017 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 9!
Today’s advent gift is Rey’s Speeder. Nice little build. The speeder will look cool sitting on my desk. One helpful thing on this build was they had two views of the build a side view and an overhead view. It made the build easier.

Justice League and Super Hero Girls Now in Happy Meals
The Justice League Action and SuperHero Girls are now in Happy Meals! The Happy meal.com has not been updated yet but the store near me had the DC toys tonight.
Update: The McDonalds near me did not have any signage about special Happy Meal prices on Tuesdays. They may have discontinued the program or just not advertising it like they used too. Or it could be done at selected locations.
Avengers August Day 31
It’s the end of August and the end of August Avengers for this year. I want to reshoot this will the minifigs I’ve added since this version was shot.
In other news I’m near 100,000 blog views! I should hit that benchmark sometime is September.

DC Lil’ Bombshell Batwoman Mini Figures
I got DC lil Bombshell Batwoman. All the figures in this line look great. I wrote about these previously here with the awesome Poison Ivy figure.
DC comic’s Bombshells. made by cryptozoic.
The series has ten regular figures and two chase figures. Characters include Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Mera, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Katana, Hawkgirl, Flash, and Batwoman. I have not seen any list showing the distribution of the main figures. I don’t know if there’s an even chance of each or if there are tired distribution with commons, uncommon, and rare. You have 1:72 odds to find a chase figure. The chase figure are Art-Deco versions of Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn figures.

Lowe’s Black Widow Build and Grow
Black Widow Build and Grow!
August 13 was Black Widow day at Lowe’s. I unfortunately had to work so my wife and son picked up the set and brought it home. We built it Tuesday night.
This was the easiest build so far, just four steps including the wedge base. And only one size of nails so you have to sort them. There’s a couple places where you add stickers before you can hammer nails. But nothing too tricky.
The Black Widow moves at the waist. She spins so it looks likes she attacking with her baton.
What’s Included in a Build and Grow?
The free kit has a wooden project, instructions with a comic on the back, a patch of that project, an apron and goggles. You can put your child’s name on the apron and iron on the patches. Then they can wear it the next time.
NEXT PROJECT: The next Build and Grow project is The Hulk and the event date is August 27. This is the final piece of the Avengers series. I don’t know what comes after that.
To attend the event you need to register at Lowe’s Build and Grow. Use the store locator to fins the nearest event. Fill out the form. Then print out the waiver and bring it to with you. Registration for the next event opens Monday after an event.

They also sell some Build and Grow kits. They had a couple of wood car sets and child sized hammers. The kits are not in the area where the event occurred. At our location they were near the Key cutting section. You can see some of the sets on the Build and Grow site.

DC Lil’ Bombshell Mini Figures
DC has a cool series called Bombshells featuring alternate versions of many of their leading female characters. It started as some pin style illustrations of the characters. The art was a fan favorite. And soon fans were making some amazing costumes of these Characters.
There has also been some extremely expensive statues of the Bombshells. I don’t have the room or money for those but now thanks to Cryptozoic there are affordable versions. Lil’ Bombshells are 2.75″ collectible figures. They are sold in a blind bag format, which means you don’t know who you get. The container is a metal tin with vintage inspired art work. It is on of the best packaging, I’ve seen for a minifigure.
Poison Ivy and Tin.
A drawback is price, the lowest I’ve seen them is $10.00. I seen more than that online. That’s a lot for a blind bag format. Which is another drawback, you don’t know who you will get. Since you might only want a couple, or even if you want them all that will add up. All the figures look great but I only want a couple of them. I was lucky and got Poison Ivy in my tin.
