Black Panther comics free on Comixology and Others
Comixology has a huge library of free Black Panther comics on their site. There is no announcement on the site about it. But if you go to Comixology or reportedly, the Marvel app and search for Black Panther, the single issues are free. The big collections are not but you get the same stories in singles anyway. So search series then pick some to read.
This includes the 70’s series and more recent issues. I reading some vintage series now. When I finish the story arc, I’ll jump to the current era.

Free digital single issues also on The Marvel App and Amazon. The note here is you can get them on Amazon and read them on Comixolgy but not vise versa. Still available as of noon on Labor Day.
Also free is the Shuri limited series.

LEGO Marvel Livestream on Marvel HQ : edit
Marvel HQ ran a a free LEGO Livestream till of its LEGO Superhero movies. The broadcast was in early November.
LEGO Princess Event at Toys R US Sat Sept 17 and 24
This September Toys R Us has two LEGO Disney Princess Events. On back to back weekends your child can build Cogsworth and Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. There is no pre-registration required, but it is first come first served and only while supplies last.
The events start at noon. There will be tables set up with bins of LEGO bricks. Attendees collect the parts they need then build the set. For a more in depth look read my post about the LEGO Captain America build from August.

Toys R US Bricktober event
As I mentioned earlier Toys R Us has a bricktober event this weekend. First there is a free build for Children 5 and up. Then there are free gifts with purchase of Superhero LEGO sets depending on which side of the Marvel vs DC fandom you belong to.
This set was offered as a free gift with purchase from LEGO stores in May. MY TRU was selling these for $3.99 a few days ago.
Robin appeared in a strip just this morning, in Scaring the birds, see my previous post for his big debut. I got Robin and Redbird Cycle for $4.99 just on Monday.
Tuesday is the release of the LEGO Marvel superhero game. Watch TRU ads to see if they do anything special for it. Walmart offered a Free Iron Patriot mini-fig with preorders. But you had to preorder and I don’t know if there was a cut off date.
