LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Day 6
This year Marvel has a Guardians of the Galaxy advent calendar to tie in with the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
The special is Mantis and Drax trying to find the perfect gift to cheer up Peter. The builds are most likely based on the GOTG movies than the special itself. But there are some Christmas theme builds like the presents. I don’t think we will have Mantis in an ugly sweater. I guess I could order the parts from somewhere and put the Guardians in festive attire.
What is today’s Advent item?
Yesterday we had Rocket, the day before some of his tools, now we have some of his gadgets is that a bomb? And Vorker’s eye from both movies. The box is built with a nice use of parts.

Since we had Rocket’s workshop yesterday, it follows that today we get the dude himself, Rocket. Nice looking figure.

Today’s build is a Rocket’s workshop or tool bench. You can tell it’s Rocket’s cause it has explosives. And is that a Battle droid arm. Where he get that?

Today’s build is a Kyln Hoverbot from when the crew is taken to prison in the first movie. Thought it was some random ship at first the instruction have it facing backwards and upside-down so you see the rear thrusters with guns on top. The guns are one the bottom so they can point down at the prisoners.

Clone Wars: Darth Maul Returns, A look back.
With the new Obi Wan Kenobi series airing lets have a look back at some Clone Wars content. Here is a blog post from 2012, when Darth Maul’s return was announced. We ran a series predicting what the new Darth Maul might look like. Rather than repost the entire series We’ll just put then all in one post.
This weekend The Phantom Menace returns to the big screen but this time in 3D. Lucasfilm is promoting the re-release with packaging and advertising featuring Darth Maul. Darth Maul was cut in two and plummeted to his death in the final act of the movie.
But this spring he returns to the small screen in The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. Since the Clone Wars takes place after Phantom Menace you probably have some question like, How did he survive? If he survived why is he just now showing up? legs? or Does George Lucas know what continuity means?
We’d like to help answer one of those questions, here’s our first prediction of what Darth Maul’s new legs will look like.

In the “Brothers” episode of the Clone Wars we finally caught a glimpse of the new Darth Maul and then he had spider like legs. The Sith was found weak, insane, and thirsting for vengeance. Eventually he gets bipedal legs.

Avengers Advent Day 24
Today’s advent gift is the Infinity Gauntlet. It has all the Infinity stones. This is different last day item. The other LEGO calendar usually have a Santa themed minifigure on the last day. I mange not to spoil the surprise this year. I kind of thought we might get a Santa Loki since the tree was in his gold and green colors.
The gems will also fit on the gold ornaments from yesterday’s tree. But they are tiny. You can have a minifigure hold this with the energy pieces from day 1’s Tony Stark.
