The advent calendar is done all doors have been open. But there’s still time for fun here’s extra photos from the calendar.
What is today’s Star Wars LEGO Advent item?
I called the Day 22 “The greatest figures stand ever! ” It is the ice cave where the Wampa stores Luke. Luke hangs upside down via some studs. I liked the build but it could be improved.
Here’s the image of the build with Luke Skywalker.
The build looked good but needed more. It was a bit unstable One side was made of tall 1x2s and went straight up no overlapping pieces I replaces on of the tall pieces with a shorter 1×2 and two single studs one with a stud on the side. This let me a a white piece as a snow shelf.
The part that holding Luke was only attached to one stude. I added a second SNOT piece behind it.
I added some blue transparent pieces for an ice look. and stuck the lightsaber in a ice. I need a white or blue transparent piece to replace the tan clip that holds the bone brick.

Today we have R2D2 in a C3PO sweater.
It did snow a little but the temp is 2F with wind chill below zero. No Outdoor photos today.

Today we have Santa GONK droid. This is a funny build. There’s been a few GONK in the advent calendar over the years.
It did snow a little but the temp is 2F with wind chill below zero. No Outdoor photos today.

It’s time for LEGO advents. Every day till Christmas Eve we open a door of the Star Wars Lego Advent calendar (#75340). It kind of like what’s today’s wordle answer but with Star Wars and bricks.
What is today’s Star Wars LEGO Advent item?
What is in the Star Wars advent today? Today continues the Echo Base theme.
It’s the greatest figures stand ever! The ice cave where the Wampa stores Luke. Luke hangs upside down via some studs. This is a great base could use some slight tweaking cause the piece Luke hangs on is on held by one stud. I may add another SNOT piece for stability.
It’s getting cold here as there’s a slight possibility of snow tonight. So there could be snow pics. But the temp could be in single digits so I may use stay inside all day.

What is in the Star Wars advent today? A radar dish from Echo Base. Looks like we’re still on Hoth for this build. Good use of 2 concave dishes to make the radar dish. Another reuse of the droid body piece fro the back of the dish.

What is today’s LEGO Advent item?
Yesterday’s advent item was a weapons rack. I guess that today would be a minifigure. It is today we have a Snowtrooper. I feel like I say nice figure every time but LEGO usually has great looking print on the figs.
And here he is on the display stand. I had to remove his helmet to fit him on the base. Otherwise he would lean forward. The helmet is wide and hit the wall behind the figure.

What is today’s LEGO Advent item?
Today’s advent item is a weapons rack with a blaster and ammo. There are also two little squares with wheels. Mouse droids? Target practice? Usually when there a weapons rack the next day is a mini figure. We’ll see tomorrow. There’s two empty studs for a minfig to stand on. I like that in recent years these rack have become mini figure diplays,

What is today’s LEGO Advent item?
Today advent item is Darth Vader is a tank top. Darth Vader wore the top in the LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation special. This is a colorful and funny build. The shirt is of sunset at a beach on Scarif with a sun and the Death Star in the Sky. There are silhouetted tie-fighters and palm trees.
Vader also has swim flippers and a beach ball. This is a highlight of the calendar.
It has more printing on the back. The Citadel Tower of Scarif.

We are still on Tatooine. Today advent item is some moisture farming equipment from the Lars homestead. Nice use of guns as part of the build.

Today we have we have C3PO wearing an ugly sweater of R2D2. I get they were originally called ugly sweaters, but this one is cool. If they aren’t selling this design on a sweater or tee shirt they are missing out. This is a nicely printed mini fig. This is also the first Christmas theme item of the calendar.

Today we have Luke’s T-16 Skyhopper. We save Luke with a model of this in A New Hope. We also saw it in the Kenobi series.
Another cool min build. I wish there was a cap on top to hols the slope and column together.

Today we have the Marauder from the animated Bad Batch series. Cool shuttle from the Bad Batch crew. This is at end of the Clone Wars era so maybe this year we’re going in chronological order. We haven’t seen any Christmas related items yet. The last two days are usually Christmas but normally there’s other items sprinkled though out the month. Like a trooper with a Santa hat.

What is today’s LEGO Advent item?
Today we have a Battle Droid. I was happy when these weren’t in the calendar last year. I’ve said before if they are putting these in the calendar, make it a trooper builder and put two in for a day. But these parts are useful. We saw a gray version yesterday with Rocket’s work shop.
That is a nice looking arm hope nothing happens to it.
More prequel stuff hopefully tomorrow we see some stuff from other eras? Original trilogy, Rebels, some of the Disney+ shows.

Today we have another prequel era ship, a droid Tri-fighter. The instructions on this were strange. The model was show vertical with the thrusters on the bottom. The top was cut off of the pic. Once I built it, it was clear it was a ship.
