This weekend is the 40th anniversary of the release of The Empire Strikes Back! Boba Fett made his big screen debut in Empire so here are a few pic of the bounty hunter. He was in the animated section of the Star Wars special before Empire but we don’t talk about that.
UPDATE: I removed a picture from this post. It was the promo image of the Hallamark LEGO Boba Fett Ornament. I didn’t take that one and didn’t catch it till afterI made the post.

Today’s we have the Bounty Hunter, IG-88. Much cooler than the Battle Droids from previous years. It’s a cooler character. As for the parts the difference between IG-88 and the battle droids is the overall color and a different head. I wish the arms turned at the elbow so it could hold its guns.

Today’s item is a Rebel Pilot. Most likely Dak Ralter who was Luke snowspeeder Gunner in the Battle on Hoth. The LEGO Character Encyclopedia says the minifig has a unique blue Rebel Alliance markings on his helmet. This version has a dual sided head.

The December 10th build is a Tie-Fighter. A cool ship from the original trilogy. It’s an improvement over the 2011 version. Both versions use a SNOT (studs not on top) brick for the cockpit of the ship. But the older one just added tiles to the side. Today’s model has bigger panels and looks more like Tie Fighter.
